A half share in the Herreshoff Fish Class sloop, Sea Robin is available. Sea Robin was designed and built in 1916 by the Herreshoff yard in Bristol. She was completely rebuilt between 1983-85 by Ben Philbrick and Ed McClave of McClave, Philbrick and Giblin of Stonington, CT. and won a "best restoration" prize at the Museum of Yachting's small boat regatta several years ago. She also won the grand prize for racing in the 75th anniversary series despite her captain's mediocre racing skills.
She is 21 ft overall and 16 ft. on the water. Her beam is 7 ft. and her draft 3 ft. 2 in. While primarily a day-sailor, carrying up to eight people in comfort, she is also a comfortable camp-cruiser for two people equipped with a custom boom tent, custom galley, head and custom berths. She is lies on mooring #40 in Sakonnet harbor, Little Compton, RI, USA.
