I am new to this hobby and I am reading "The Marquetry Course" written by Jack Metcalfe and John Apps. They mention supplies that I am having trouble finding.
The first is "Silver Sand" used for sandshading. Does anyone know where to find this or a substitute for it?
The second is "Bookbinding Film". They also refer to it as "clear plastic gummed film" Aparently it's a gummed adhesive with a paper backing on one side and a clear plastic film on the other. Does anyone have a source for this item?
I will appreciate any help that anyone can offer.
Thanks
