Hi,

My brother is building a new workshop. His land is only 6.5m long x 5m wide.

He is going to build it out of rusty old tin to stick it to the council and all the knobs in the estate.

He can only build it 6m x 4.5m so he can fence the block as well.

He also has a double garage nearby that he could do his finishing in so this room would probably house just the machines which are;

1 x tsc10hb table saw:)
1 x router table
1 x 6" carbatech jointer
1 x ryobi thinnesser
1 x pedastal drill press
1 x 18" bandsaw
Dusty would be plumbed in from outside.

So in effect it is the size of a single garage. Would ths be big enough?

cheers

dazzler brother

Im sure it'll all fit, most gear may need to be mobile tho.

I love that bit! A mate was going to buy a house in some Sydney Estate.... until he found out that there are rules governing things such as what size and colour your letterbox can be!

Jeez, talk about coincidence!

Dazzlers brothers equipment list is exactly the same as Dazzlers
and
The size of Dazzlers Brothers block is the same size as Dazzlers proposed new workshop:p

Would be tight but yes! A mate has basically the same equipment in a 8x3 garage. Hardest part would be keeping working space around the bandsaw and TS

Put everything on wheels. Either locking casters or pry-up contraption. Removable ballast as needed: I use two 5-gallon buckets of RR spikes for my lathe. My garage/shop/studio is a sliding block puzzle. Big door and outside apron helps.
