On the site you can also find a link to a conclusion of a review (in German): http://www.spero.nl/images/Image/magazine.jpg

Conclusion: It's a clone of the older festool models, but without the electronic speed control. It's cheap but solidly built. They also say it doesn't cut exactly at the splinterguard rubber thing but a bit further from the rail (I wonder if they mean when the rubber has been cut with a festool first)

Hello,

The design strangely reminds me that of Holzner machines ( with red/orange bits). Holzner has been taken over, i seem to recall by a company named...Protool which as we all know, is the parent comapny of...Festool. Am i right in saying that Festool is targetting a lower segment? Maybe i am wrong and should quit sunday drinking!

"Maybe i am wrong and should quit sunday drinking!"

This is a disgraceful attempt to attract attention Riri and you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself. Any man, or woman for that matter, who threatens to abstain from Sunday Beverage trials deserves to be force fed American beer for two weeks.

Let that be a lesson to you. As a religious man I will forgive you if you promise never to say such a thing again and visit each of the Trappist Breweries of Belgium confessing your sins at each one.

I have warned my friend the Abbot of Westvleteren to expect a sinner wearing a Festool Cap and bearing a placard saying "Send Pat a crate of Yellow 12 immediately. I will pay."

Pat :D

Interesting, indeed a sturdy looking ATF clone. Amazing why this company hasn't been sued by festool. It has the technique of an ATF version without electronic control (Yes Festool made those versions too) and the look of an TS (base-plate and saw house). Even the systainer is a Tanos copy (see the rounded handle), I bet you can dock it on a Tanos/festool...

Will it fit in a TS module for the CMS? It most certainly will not fit in the basis since the base plate is a sort of copy from the TS series.

And what's really is whopping  : they have made a 85mm plunge saw! Festool never made a plunge saw bigger than 65mm and even now in the TS series they only made a 75mm (but fits in a systainer).
