What kind of wood to be used in pallet making (Euro pallet)

the timber for pallets for use in your country of origin can be made of any sutable timber , internatioal traveling pallets should be made of treated timber ( CCA ) and painted , some country's like Australia wont let untreated / unsealed timber cross there boarders ,its to reduce the chance of having hitch hikeing pests or borers in the timber

Depends on what you need them for. Weight of the product being transported isthe main consideration. Light weight pallets are generally made of non structural plantation pine. I could put you onto a pallet manufacturer in Mooruduc Vic if you want more info
