Recently got a bonus from work and picked up a few things for the shop as well as going to help the kitchen remodel be a little nicer

I have been using the LU83R 50T Combo Thin Kerf blade from Freud for about 2 years and wanted the full kerf version so it arrived from Woodcraft today along with the Rosseau external router switch that I needed badly for the Benchdog Protop table.

Also picked up a slot hinge arbor, blades and a mess of hinges for my box work.

Now if my Gifkin jig would come

I would like to have one of those switches to put on my table saw. My delta has a little bittey toggle switch...I have my router plugged into a speed control box and just use the switch on it to turn it off and on...works great.

I'm real curious how those slot hinges work. Could you explain or post some photos please? :)

Cisco here are the instructions from the Woodcraft site where I ordred the arbor, blades and the hinges. Pretty much identical to the diagrams and photos in Peter Friedman's book. Doug Stowe uses the same item only he shows in his books that he uses it in the router table instead. Hope this helps.

MLSA, easy to install, it will install underneath to the top or to the side of a cabinet. I got it at Woodcraft for 29.00 or so. Rockler also makes a nice one for about 15.00 which I probably would have ordered if I had seen it earlier. I do like the panic bar on the Rosseau one though.
