Anybody know where I can get rotary burrs and rasps for freehand carving with a 1/4" laminate trimmer?

Cheers
Michael

Is that with the base removed or still fitted?

Carbatec may have them or Timbecon. You may even like to try TradeTools or Glenfords.

Hi George,
That's with the base removed. I asked at Carbatech but they only have the ones for the rotary tools, which still may be OK if the shank is the right size.

btw, I also have a Draco router table, but no manual I can lend you sorry.

Cheers
Michael

Carbatec and Hare & Forbes both sell 1/4" shanked burrs. H&F think they are for die grinders, but 'we' know better -HSS and carbide. The Carbatec ones are listed with the pendant drill (foredom clone) that they stock.

You can also get them as singles or sets from Blackwoods, Moyles or other 'Engineer's' suppliers.

Even Lee Valley sell them, as well as the smaller Dremel 1/8 (3mm) ones - just check the description carefully, as some come in 1/4 and 1/8 shanks with identically shaped heads.
