G'day all,
Here are a couple of trinket boxes that I have made. The one on the left is made from Kwilla, the other one is made from Queensland Maple. The Kwilla one I made a while back, the other I made last night. I have made a few of these as it can be a challenge to get them just right. I like to have them so that once closed the lid seals the whole unit so that it does not make any sound when shaken. It is particularly satisfying when I manage to get a seal on both pieces.
Both of these are about 100mm high, and were sanded to 800 grit, finished with EEE cream and Shellawax. (Thanks again Ubeaut.)
See ya

I was sitting here looking at pix 2 & 3 and thinking "Huh? Those aren't the lids?" It took me a while to twig... :-

Neat idea!
