purpleheart, and lacewood???

Hello everyone, I am new to the froum and to woodworking. I have been looking for two pieces of wood for a while now and can't find anywhere to get it locally. So I was wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction. I need a piece of purpleheart that is 1.5 x 3.5 x 67in, and a piece of lacewood that is 2.5 x 2.5 x 67in. Any help woud be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

www.viennahardwoods.com (http://www.viennahardwoods.com) has what you need. You could call and speak to John and see if he would be willing to ship. However, you really would be much better off finding a local distributer of exotic lumber. Surely, there is someone in Florida selling this stuff.

If you really can't find it any other way, send me a PM and I can go down and pick it up for you and have it shipped. As a matter of fact, I have plenty of both species in my shop right now. :B Shouldn't cost to much if we use USPS.

also these suppliers seem to have a bit of the south american species...brazilian purpleheart and brazilian lacewood seem to be the most popular varieties of what u r after..
