This vase is the en-of-week project of a beginner after a 4 days training program. Passionate, he came with his own wood asking if it was good to be turned. I told him to keep it until the en of the week, and he turned it friday.
It is Bubinga.
As you can see he realy grasped all the basics of wood turning.
I wanted to share it with you.

Claude,

The pupil may have talent, but with out tutoring it will remain undeveloped talent.

Nice bowl for a first timer and good work on your tutoring. :2tsup:

But you still need creativity and drive without these all you have is a flat tire ,with no go.You just keep turning and having fun . Some days you just get tooth picks other days are diamonds .
