Hi Folks,
A while back I made a small webpage explaining how, with the help of my friend Daniel Huskey, I made a K-Sled kerfing jig for making kerfed linings on a bandsaw for acoustic guitar construction. This is similar to the one featured on Frank Fords Web Site, Frets.com (http://www.frets.com/FRETSPages/Luthier/Tools/LiningKerfer/liningkerfer.html) and if you scroll to the bottom of that page there is even a little movie of the jig in action.
The jig works very well and makes a simple and enjoyable job of what would normally be a tedious task. If you could not be bothered making your own before, well now you may be tempted and in the process remove just one more item from the shopping list that you needed to buy in from the USA.
HERE (http://members.optusnet.com.au/sound.buy/ksled/) is the link, I hope you find it useful.
Gday Kiwi and Gray:U
Cheers
Kim
