pot pourri bowl is camphor laurel with port orford cedar lid.bowl shape is just so so ,but made to accomodate the lid which i quite like the pattern.lazy susan can be used with just the bottom tray or tiered.is camphor laurel also.saw it in australian woodworker some years ago & always kept it in mind. as you see photography is not one of my strong points.come to think of turning isnt either.:rolleyes: am trying to resize a pic of it put together.

Paul they look good you have got some nice grain in that CL :2tsup:

I would like to se the lazy susan all together. All in all you have done very well

It's good to see someone making their own fretwork lid instead of just buying one off the shelf. :2tsup:

I'll echo Justin, too: there's some damned nice grain in the CL, hurry up and post the assembled pix! :D

The timber has come up a real treat - particularly the lazy susan one. Reminds me of the china cake stands our grandparents had. Nice work.

havent found a way to get the pic small enough to post yet,maybe no can do.so,bottom plate is 320 mm, middle 280mm,top 220 mm.each plate seperated by 100mm column.will have to pay more attention when next i take a pic to post.:C
