Hi All
I require a set of plans to build a Pilates Reformer

This is a device used during the pilates excersise routines - a form of excersise that is very good for Lower Back Pain relief.
I have made a fairly thorough search of the internet but to no avail
My wife is in a lot of pain and can't take much more medication but the Pilates excersises perfored with the aid of a reformer have helped miraculosly So I need to build one They are ludicrusly expensive to buy!!! and there isnt that much to em either.
So If any of you ever come across one Please contact me and leave a msg here as others might want to build one too
all the best
Allan

A photo or a link to a photo would help - sometimes there is something that is close to what you are looking for under a different name. Or someone will suggest how to go about making one or adapt a plan.

I had my back broken in a bad accident.... and

I picked up one of them XLI Total Gymwith the Peladies attachments...

And it is Brilliant....

All the strengthening and stretching exercises... I am a NEW man...

It was a Guthy Renker deal, but you can pick them up in other places.

You can contact them and ask them where to get them from.. or you can try this place or online some where...

You can get plans to build your own Reformer from this site.

Did you ever get around to making this?

I've seen the plans for sale but at $99 I'd prefer to discuss whether or not they were good from someone who has already built it.

I'm also interested in how much you paid for part etc.

I've seen one cheap reformer which looks a little less sturdy but is foldable so I'm tossing up whether to build one or buy this cheap model.

Advice?
