Hi
I attended a literary festival launch ( that's where people use trees to make paper not timber - sorry daddles I know you need the stuff to make a living) at the Victoria University Boat Building building. Unfortunately I missed most of the speeches as I gazed at the combined building prowess of around 15 apprentices. Amazing how one basic design can end up in so many configurations.
The workmanship was fantastic and very inspiring in terms of helping me get off the butt and start really thinking about my building mission.
if any body is tooling around newport Melbourne I would advise a visit

these kids need encouragement - who knows we might have to visit one of them for a repair job one day.
