The lady wants a kitchen stool (since her accident) and my thoughts are that it needs to be a version that can be stored by collapsing to suit our kitchen layout when not in use.

Cannot find any retail versions so looking to make our own, but would prefer a design that would not need turnings.

Can anyone help please?

Many thanks for your help, Janet wants a stool to sit on (bar height) but only have a small storage area when not in use. So a collapsible version is sought.

what about a folding deck chair and just extend the legs?
I can recall seeing such plans over the years.
