New member here, been reading for quite some time. This is a humidor I made for a friend of mine with the Philadelphia Eagles logo. Let me know what you think.

An impressive first post - welcome. Can you tell us some more about the box? The size, timbers used, etc.

Thanks, here are a couple of more pics. Also included a second humidor I recently made for a wedding gift, not real crazy about how the top came out, but the flame maple looks cool.

I like that second humidor, especially the top. You might dislike it because it's not exactly what you expected, but I reckon it's great.

Thanks for the kind words. The one I'm working on now is the most difficult by far, the US Marine Corps logo, over 200 pieces.

Well the Marines humidor is just about finished, made a number of mistakes along the way, but I guess that is part of the process. The top is ash, dyed black, maple and some other stuff that I can't remember now. Box is maple burl with wenge accents.

Hey Jaym, Looks good. I have attached a drawing Corel X3 If you can't open it let me know which program you use (if any). The drawing is a vector line drawing of a rope border, may be of some help? Anyway your work looks :2tsup:

Take care Dennis

Yeah, that's more what I was aiming for, I'll get it right next time. Forgive my ignorance, but what is a vector line drawing?

Jaym, well it's used on cnc or laser cutting machines. Now, you don't think I cut 1,400+ parts on a scrollsaw:oo:

If you did, :2tsup: your work is fantastic:2tsup: :2tsup: and my drawing will not help.

Here is a extremely blurry progress pic of my next one, the ribbon will wrap around all four sides of the box.

After much trial and error this is the design I've decided to go with, still in the beginning stages, but figured I would give you guys a sneak peak.
