Wooden urn

I played around with a wood lathe some time ago and produced this item. The top, bottom, and the narrow strips, are made from African mahogany, the wide dark vertical members from Philippine mahogany, and the light colored strips from some scrap B.C. pine.

It was a nice change from the aircraft building project!
