Here's a bedside table project I got lost with combining components the idea is table top is flush at front and sides with a 5mm shadow between top of legs/rails and top. Intend to have a single inset draw. As you can see had trouble positioning legs at table edge along with numerous other hicups.
Cheers

I wouldnt colour in the job until its done, if at all.
We all know what colour timber is?

This isnt a criticism, just my thoughts.

You have to make sure the thing is solid before you extrude or follow me.

Some components will become hollow if you delete 1 line, so check to see if it is hollow before you proceed to the next point.

Not sure what you mean about the 80mm drawer???

Do you mean 120mm rails all-round, but the drawer face is only 80mm high?

See what you think.

:brava Even with poor directions youv'e got it. Yes I thought a small drawer 80mm would be the right proportions inset between 19mm top and bottom drawer rails. When youv'e finished could you knock up a queen ann highboy?:D

Cheers

Yu da mayan, drawer pull looks like the bees knees as well was thinkin bout an ebonised dowel style with cutaway as the top will be bookmatched myrtle veneer with myrtle surround.

Hmmm... the beauty of SU is seeing what the dimensions look like. Recon it looks too short for the table top perhaps 450 wide would look better what is that formula again, golden rule or something.

Cheers Martrix:D thanks lots

Do you mean 450mm deep?

I would say the width is OK, but shortening the depth would be a good idea.

Think your right perhaps need scaling down 450 wide 350-380 deep maybe. By the way whats the consulting rate:wink:
