Hi everyone
Here is another one of my extreme birdhouses .
I started this one last year but i had to wait until spring to finish it.
This bird mansion is made from 120 yr old reclaimed barn timber.
It has over 80 single apartments and is almost 2 metres square.

Thanks Harry
I have a nice mitre saw that i just love using and i have used the same cheap table saw for the past ten years .

I just recently bought another table saw just like it and gave my old one to my son.
I definitely do a lot of cutting , sometimes for 8 hours at a time.
I just recently starting some of the birdhouses. i don,t need more then 10 birdhouses in my yard and i just started selling birdhouse plans for 2 of the smaller houses on my new site.

they look really cool and i can see alot of thought and work has gone into them. I look forward to seeing each one you post but i must ask. Do birds actually move in ? if so what sort would want to live in such a flash place and give up their humble nest in the tree tops?

Keep up the good work mate

John, if you had 10 or more of your extreme birdhouses on your property, you would be accused of having a sub-division or housing plat.:U Then you'd have to pay more realestate tax.

Do birds actually move in ?

Very cool work, as usual. :2tsup: But that is the question, isn't it? Do the birds actually move in? (Or is it a time share? :D )

Good to see you found this great site Dave.:2tsup:

This birdhouse took about 3 1/2 weeks to build.

When i was a little boy i remember my father showing me pictures like that of miniature buildings in a park .
I think the pictures i saw were from Switzerland where my father is from.
