Seems a bit odd when their website says $1095

http://www.carbatec.com.au/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=180_400_19276

That's Brisbane though, so maybe freight is added in.

Mine cost $899 about 3 years ago. (ML392 model)

Carbatec Melbourne are qouting $1199

Another interesting thing is that they are quoting replacement blades for the AW106 at $66 and the ML392 blades are still $39. \
I thought they were the same item.

Hey Gumby, yeah all seems a bit odd when the prices seem to be more expensive every time I speak to them or enquire. I'm starting to loose faith. Spoke to Brisbane this morning and was qouted $1389.00 with delivery costing $120.00? Web site $1095.00 :~
Maybe Jet?

Just been on the phone to Sydney, the retail price on the web says $1095 which they are claiming is a mistake but will ohner the price, if you were after one of these machines maybe give them a call and say you got the price off the web site as they are going to change it to $1195.00.

I purchased the AW106PT from Melbourne and paid $1199 for it.
Freight is the killer, Carbatec wanted $241.00 to transport it and a TSC-10HB from Springvale to Ringwood. Thanks but no thanks very much........
Not sure if you are Armidale Victoria or Armidale NSW so freight is something to keep in mind. The AW106PT slides very neatly into a standard 6x4.
One issue to keep in mind, the side cover that has the cogs and spinny bits behind it.........the factory do not screw this on, mine was considerably bashed about which I discovered when I unpacked the crate to the extent that the safety switch was in too many pieces on the floor of the crate, way more than it was ever meant to be.
Carbatec to their credit did not argue and swapped the panel over and supplied a new switch.
