I am currently looking at a new lathe, and came across a VICMARC VL175 with electronic speed control, as put together by VERMEC Engineering. If anyone has any good/bad experiences with the pakage, I would be interested to hear. The lathe will certainly suit my needs, but am a little concerned about a swivelhead (although first impressions of the VL175, are that it is very strong, stable, precise and well engineered).
