I am a beginner to woodworking.
Can anyone suggest any instructional type DVD's that I can watch and where possibly I could buy them from?

Taunton Press are excellent They have some superb DVD's and books.

You can buy online or try amazon.com

There's also your local woodworking shop like Carbatec for books etc

You can also get one of our forum DVD's for free or download the vids yourself.

Then there's Youtube. There are lots of good videos about woodworking on there.

Arry check with your local library to see what they have got, some times they will source from other libraries or buy in on request.

Lie Neilsen for hand tool books and DVD's. I can personally recoment the Rob Crosman DVD's on Dovetails.

Usual disclaimer, I have no proprietory interest in the commercial venture, apart from being a satisfied customer.

Better homes and gardens produce a good DVD on building a deck. I would recommend it :)
