Hi all,

After having a few problems with a new bandsaw I purchased this book.

The bandsaw Book by Lonnie Bird. It is fantastic: it covers everything. From what to look for when buying, tuning your saw to advanced techniques and jigs. I recommend getting this book even before go out shopping for a bandsaw.

It can be a little difficult to source in Australia (had to phone quite a few places to find a copy) and can cost around $56.00. But the good news is, amazon.com has this book at 30% off list price. So with the cost of package, shipping and the exchange rate this cost me about $40.00 Aus and it arrived on my doorstep 9 days from placing the order.

I hope this may be of help
Kevin

I'll second that. I knew nothing about bandsaws, until I read this book. Now I need to get one and learn some more !:D
