woodworking course in cairns area?

hi folks, i'm brand new to this site and i'm hoping that someone can let me know if there are any courses in woodworking and/or cabinetmaking in the cairns area. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know of any courses but, there is a woodworkers club that is worth contacting.

They have a club house in Knight St. Portsmith, used to be the old Game Fishing club many years ago.

You will find somebody down there most weekends.... go for a drive by & you may find a ph. no. on the fence.

If you are ever in Bunnies, go to the Tool Shop & ask for Ron, he will give you all the details. :2tsup:

I had a computer business in Cairns & moved to Malanda last year.
I still get to Cairns but hardly ever on the weekend so I dropped out the club about 5 years ago.

See if you can find Ron 'cos he is a member & knows what happens & when, he is also good value in that tool store too.
