Gidday does anyone know if there is a turning club and lessons in Townsville Qld? We are moving there with in the next month does anyone know of any in there?

:2tsup: Yes we have a good friendly club. The clubhouse has 8 lathes, bandsaws and such. Come along everyone is welcome. Their is thursday morning group for the retirees, I turn Thursday night 7pm to 10pm, Saturday morning 9am to 12:30 & 1pm to 4:30 pm. Courses are run at the clubhouse over a 6week period.

:) its at Gill park on Grosvenor St Pimlico. Its a Gray / blue colour with a wooden sign above the door.

At last some one form the townsville club has come to join us.:D

I droped in there last may while I was up visiting the relatives.
Yep they are a friendly bunch of chaps.

I'll be in townsville in the first two weeks of august..... perhaps we should organise a NQ gathering.

Bugger, am being forced to cruise the Greek Islands for two weeks and won't be back until the third week in August. :~
