Hi

Just to let the members know that if they want good and cheap (We pay $25.00 for me, my wife and 6 yrs old), You can not go wrong at Wigram St, Harris Park in Sydney. My 6 yrs old likes particularly at "TAJ".

The Sri Lankan in Macquarrie St Parramatta, just on the park side of the main drag, is wonderful. Absolutely dreadful decor - cheap pink paint everywhere, plastic flowers etc.

Service speed can be a bit iffy at times - you will see literally gallons of takeaway going out the door, including bainmaries, missionary sized pots etc - they seem to do catering too. The black curried pork is magnificent - the only thing I have had that really compares is a proper Turkey Mole (Chocolate Turkey/chicken). But its not as cheap as Harris Park

nah - it tastes good (well, to us...)
and Continental (or one of them) make a mix for mince curry - trouble with that one is it's hot. . .
cheers
