I read in another thread that Weldbond was good stuff,so having some on the shelf decided to have a go.
Glued the tubes into a set of camphor laurel blanks and a set of opalac blanks. The glue is white weldbond. waited the required 24 hours to cure and did the test. With the back end of a drill ,I pushed the tubes straight out of the blanks. Two failures.
First and last time I will use Weldbond on pens.

Weldbond is a good brand of glue but, perhaps not for what you used it (for). (My old English Teacher would slap my hand for ending a sentence in such a manner) It is a good brand of glue and I have used it often but it is like Titebond or Elmers products. It needs some air and compression to dry. As a Metal to Wood it is NO Good.... Wood to wood is where you should....
