Made a quick trip to Carbatec Sydney's sale this morning.
Came home with the Chinese 317mm thicknesser and two Bessey clamps all at very good prices.:)
Set the thicknesser up this afternoon and ran some odd bits of timber through - makes more mess than the lathe :D:D:D
Results very respectable with a better finish on hardwood than crapiata. Minimal snipe.
Roll on the Woodworking show next week - might find some more toys. :wink:
