Get MS Image Resizer from Here (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx). It gets added to you right click menu, and is very easy to use. I typically find, that a hi-res image will reduce to an 800 X 600 image at a 50Kb size. The image remains very good quality.

I thought that the latest version of the forum software automatically resized pics to 100k when you upload.

Maybe one of the mods can confirm this.

Other than that, there are any number of free resizer programs on the web.

As long as you have broadband, just upload your photos and they will be automatically reduced.

That's how all these (http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/showthread.php?t=46576) were loaded.
