Anyone turned or seen mulberry Burl? Was given a substantial branch that looks as if it's covered with burls. Will put some through the bandsaw tomorrow and post a few pics in the next couple of days.

They aren't clusters of shoots from where buds and fruit shoot from? If they are, there is normally some nice birdseye figure in there. Most fruiting Mulberrys have these all over.

I have a number of short log pieces given to me that have small burls over them in many places. Pretty much like the pics from Cedars link. As yet they are still drying and in order to preserve the small burls I will be making vases out of them.
