Hi

I bought my new D.P at the Sydney TWWW show, and I had a chance to set it up last night. But, the instructions were very very basic and did not mention all parts. Currently, I am unable to figure out, where one part goes, and how another part is fitted.

I cant figure out where the blue ring goes. It has a grub screw in it if thats any help.
I know where the silver thingy goes and what its for, I just dont know how to put it on and make it stay there...

Cheers

Stirlo, it goes at the top of the screw thread that is on the post. You should have put it on before mounting the head of the DP. The long bar goes from the base of the DP and through the table winder. The ring holds it in place at the top. Do not overtighten the bar, let it swivel a bit.

The blue ring holds the silver thingie in place. Normally the the silver thingie sits into the base collar then the table slids over that then the blue ring is lowered on the post till it hit the top of the silver thingie and then tighten grub screw to hold in place.

Sound like you have already put the head on, you will need to take the head off to get the ring on.

Thanx Groggy.

I havent as yet put the head on the collum because I knew the bar had to go there first.

Last thing, which way does the bar go on? there is a longer bit of bare meatl at one end, is that the top or bottom?

Lower the ring over the post and move it down to hold the bar in place. Try the mechanism of the table BEFORE you put the head on, to make sure it works ok.
