View Full Version : Removing wall stud and noggins

I'm about to remodel our laundry and desire to sink one of the cupboards back into the wall by knocking out the plaster and an intervening stud and its associated noggins.

The wall is non-structural as the roof above is trussed.

I'd prefer it if I can avoid damaging the opposite wall but suspect that wall's plaster (drywall) will be glued to the noggins and stud, possibly nailed also.

I can get hold of a sawzall but this still probably won't get right down close to the plaster face.

Any suggestions as to other possible approaches ?
