An American style pen from Gary Pye made from Burmese Teak. Some I have seen made it is turned the same size as the fitting that the mechanism threads onto. As you can see with mine the threaded fitting fits inside the centre band and I turn my bottom larger with a gradual curve to the nib end. Comments and critiques welcome.

Darren,
Nicely done. The combination of the wood, kit and countour blends to a touch of elegance. Teak is one the missus favorite woods.

Cheers,

Rick

Darren, you've almost won me over - not as much plastic in this style, and you've managed to make a relatively bland wood look very elegant.
