Hare & Forbes Bandsaw [Archive]

Howdy All,

Am currently in the market for a bandsaw. I have looked through the threads here but havent seen anything about the HAFCO BP16A bandsaw. It seems to have a lot to offer : 9" depth of cut, 15 inch capapcity and a 2HP motor.

Has anyone looked at it ? If so what did you guys think about it ?

I too am interested in the 16A as the specs look very impressive. Unfortunately H&F in Melbourne don't have stock so it is difficult to tell what it is like. I know Wayne Davy has the smaller unit from this one and is very happy. Evan Pavlidis did some research a few weeks ago into bandsaws and the 16A was on the list to look at but as I said they didn't have one.
