2004 report into growing exotic trees in Oz

Has anybody heard any more about this report on growing exotic trees here in Oz It was done in 2004 and originated in Queensland by John Elliott.

It was produced by the Central Queensland Forrest Association in Rockhampton. I have sent an email but have as yet to receive any reply.
Maybe somebody has heard what they are up to, if you read through the pdf file there are some really species.

I flicked thorugh this report but it seems its a list of gum trees palnted all over the place and not too many exotics

quite boring actually, just a few exotics that have been growing here for some time. What I was looking for was Cocobolo and African Ebony and such like.

hey cool, nice wishful thinking Hughie, dunno if yr gonna find much cocabolo or african ebony round the place. Someone may have planted some at sometime, maybe as an ornamental in the cities or wherever, dunno if you will even find those species in the botanical gardens...just might..

you will find some australian diospyros varieties same genus as the ebony but no native dalbergias exist as far as i know...

It would be cool to grow some of those species mentioned in the report in OZ, as the Indian Rosewood cabinet seems have got them a bit exicted..
