From the front page of the LB website:

"It's a Girl!
Mrs Lumber Bunker and Baby Lumber Bunker are doing well. Thanks for all the warm wishes. Steve, (Mr Lumber Bunker)"

So, it seems congratulations are in order :2tsup:

Cheers,
Andrew

Thanks Andrew,
Joscelyn Elizabeth, is doing well but is quite small as she was 6 six premature.
5lb 11oz, 47cm long and growing already. She will be in special care for a few weeks yet, but all is well.

It was amazing. (the birth that is.)

Cheers,

Steve

Seems it's time for me to run out the one bit of unsolicited parenting advice I'm happy to give:

when she hits 6 months old, teach her sign language.

Kids' brains are ready to communicate by then, but they can't control all the breathing, tongue and lip muscles required to speak.
They *can* control gross motor movements, and that's enough to get messages across like "more", "finished", "milk", etc.

Cheers,
Andrew

Where on top of that... milk, food, poo, water. (signing that is)
I've seen it work really well over the last few months as my brother in law was practicing with his little girl. very cool, she was the only kid at day care that could ask for something, with out screaming the house down. and I'm all for that!
