Argh Bugger it, I will leave them here for a bit.

The top pic is the After photo and the second pic is the Before photo. Unfortunatly the colour in the After photo is not showing as close to real as the before photo...

It is a Silky-oak phone table, some of you old timers, sorry I meant more mature wise ones http://ubb.ubeaut.com.au/ubb/rolleyes.gif may still have one sitting in the lounge.... http://ubb.ubeaut.com.au/ubb/wink.gif

Cheers...

My old man would have painted it, looks good though. What did you finish it with?

Well, It had to be matched to a clients colour sample, hence the kinda walnutish colour. Personally I prefer silky-oak ala naturale!
Then sealed with shellac, and a couple of coats of laquer ( mirotone ).
It might appaul some of you to know that I actually disassymbled the thing and rebuilt it. Only a couple of the joints still had a good seal, so apart it came so I could sand it without using stripper ( which I dislike to no end http://ubb.ubeaut.com.au/ubb/mad.gif ) then make all neccessary repairs and rebuild etc etc.....

Cheers
