Simple but catchy, nice variation and a good way to use off cuts, Amos:)

I love this forum... fantastic ideas abound! Macca, that is great. I would not have thought to do that. Very nice. One question, when turning, did you have a problem when transitioning from the corian to wood i.e., the chisel wanting to dig deeper into the wood than the corian?

Cheers,

Rick

Thanks for all the encouraging feedback.

Rick. Yes you have to be careful when going from wood to corian and back. I only use a very sharp skew and be careful to have the bevel rubbing to control the tool. Take your time with light passes.
I tend to work from wood to corian. If you go the other way (corian to wood) I find a greater chance of "dropping off the corian" and taking more wood than desired.

cheers
