Finally after threatening to do it, Its done.

Made from 13mm polycarb a bit of over kill but its all I had. Eight grippers had to muck around with the radii a fair bit to give as much strength as I could at the centre.
I used a trimmer router, great for control as its very light. But :C it does not lend to well to a radius type arm. Decided in the end to make a decent one for future projects, several days work in my spare time :~ . In fact it took longer than the poly machining.

The cutter on the router I used was a 6mm milling rather than use the regular type. With the spiral flutes figured it would give a better slicing cut, seems alright smooth finish.

Good to see your Supervisor casting a critical eye over your work in that last shot, Hughie! :;

Ripper Hughie!:2tsup: and you won't be sorry you used the 13mm stuff. Looks huge when you see the cat nearby - what diameter is it?

Superb, hughie. Looks huge when you scale the slots, too (Q&D). Is it really 600mm? :oo:
