Hi Folks,
I am new to the forum. I enjoy dabbling into a number of different aspects of woodwork, my biggest hinderence is time start work early and finish late, weekends are family stuff.
I would really like to get involved with pyrography. Seems to me that it does not take up a lot of space and doesn't make much noise later at night.
I am not overly financial and have an electrician that is prepared to build me a pyrography unit. What I am after is the technical specifications of the (hot wire burning) unit. We know that it requires a transformer and that the pen can be hand made, but it is the electrical specs that are required.
If anyone has one of these units, it would be great if they could have a look at the info plate that is usually attached and let me know. even better if can take photo of plate and post it accordingly.
