It has been a while, but made these Green Abalone, I made a mistake with the 1st one I made, So keen to get into it that I didn't realize that I needed to use bush 50a, so when put together I was scratching my head, thinking, how was it possible to overturn so severely!? when I:) realized the mistake I used a Plat/Titanium kit instead and the blank was saved! whew. Next one I used the correct bushes. The finish is the one that Froggie uses for snake skins, basically, sand to 400, then 000 and 0000 steel wool, then wet sand with 1200, then use acrylic finishing pads, 1500, 2200, forget the next grade but it is the blue pad, then 15000 the grey pad. then couple coats of plastic polish and a couple with show car glaze and it does come to a brilliant shine.
