Can anyone please save the day and advise where
to obtain tyres for the Craftmaster CBS-360 bandsaw.
Wheels are 6 1/2" dia. x 1/2" wide.
Saw is a three wheeler and about 15-20 years old.

Couple of times over the years I have been stuck needing bandsaw tyres so I have made them from an old inner tube and stretched them onto the wheel. Bigger diameters can be obtained by cutting the rubber band from the tube on an angle to get enough length and it straightens up very nicelywhen stretchedonto the wheel

Carba-Tec Melb has a variety of replacement tyres. Give them a try.

Thanks everyone for replies about bandsaw tyres.

Bob Thomas; your suggestion using innertube rubber
worked brilliantly !!

I used a tube about 4" dia. which stretched perfectly
to fit tightly on the 6 1/2" wheel.

I ended up cutting the tube ring 5/8" wide to get the
1/2" width size after stretching the rubber round the
wheel.

Great stuff, thanks again Bob.

Old post I know but perhaps useful advice.

You can cut a strip of rubber from a tube or get some strip from a rubber shop ,clean everything with acetone and then contact glue the tyre to the wheel. Will get you out of trouble and hard rubber lasts longer than the original. Make sure the join line is parallel and close
