Fully floating raised panels, all bookmatched. Frames joined at corners with lock mitres (worked out very well, whole box is square to within 0.5 mm). Top was a bit different. I used a thck peice of flat sawn timber, ripped it to create 8 1/4 sawn pieces and put it all back together again.
Drawers are all dovetailed using some very good Vic Ash that I was lucky to get, totally clear, 1/4 sawn, very stable. Drawer slides are adjustable in the unwanted situation that anything would move in the future.
I used "space balls" to restrict the panel movements so that they dont rattle, stay centred, but are still free to expand or contract.
Finnish is 6 coats of oil and wax according to the recipe of Krenov.
