I have decided to buy a combination machine but have no experience with them. I am looking for a machine that includes a planer/thicknesser; spindle moulder and perhaps a morticer although I may opt for a stand-alone morticing machine.
I have a budget of about $6,000 and would appreciate any advice regarding different brands etc. Does anyone know of comparison reports of these machines? Any information would be useful.

Hi Jim, as this can run to a lengthy response may I suggest you run a search on this BB using the search string "combination"

There are other options like searching out machinery re-sellers who may offer up a choice for you.

Because the range is popular and extensive there are numerous dealers who have their contact URLS within the threads herein.
Some dealers on-sell for folk either upgrading or thru deceased estates etc.
Also check the machinery sections of the newspapers on line
because that often an untapped source.

Most New Machines start aroung the $8k mark but there are limited function sets around.

Cheers:)
