Hi All, I went to the auction which I previously mentioned regarding the Lucas Mill which was advertised as new over the radio.

The mill had done 80 hours work, was a twenty five horsepower model 825-701 and was NEW in 2001 and was in very clean condition and there was a slabbing attachment with it and it was sold to my surprise it sold for $14,500.00 GST included. It appeared to me to be overpriced by a considerable amount although I am not familiar with new pricing. A metabo Table saw went for $600 + and Woodfast three speed lathe $350.

Posted as information only

I would say that's a good price for one with only 80hrs, especially if it was in good clean condition and with a slabbing attachment

Totally agree with DJ... one here was being auctioned through ebay with a starting bid of 13000 and even then it was only that figure because no one would bid on it!!
