Disc sander face plae

Hi Folks
I am trying to locate a 10 or 12" aluminium face plate to repair an old Tool craft disc/belt sander. Any idea where I might get one?

Triton make a sanding disk made of aluminium for a 91/4 inch saw to use in the triton saw table as a sander. Could you modify that?

Came across a reference to a lathe version in web wanderings recently. Possibly from Vermec in Qld.
