Jim,

The boards for the following Kiaat Timber furniture were planed on a 14" Red Fox planer from rough sawn by my Dad over 50 years ago.

This is part of Jim's thread under tools and machinery "Red Fox Planer"

The chair ( 1 of 6 in a dining set) was upholstered by Dad then, with choir and waste under a product called 'pagamoid' ( I don't know the exact spelling as I was very young when it was done).

Hasve Fun..........keep turnin

Not letting you near the furniture with a plane!!

There was a guy bringing in South African timber, he had a warehouse in Boag Place, Morley, before the 'new' Hardware House' was built there, but moved it in about 1998 to make room for that expansion. He is involved in a printing business, I cannot recall his name but will start enquiries.

Regards

Joe
