Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can give me some info about a course or lessons available in Melbourne.

you have a couple of options, depending on where in Melbourne you are. I can recommend the Maningham woodworkers club. they hold a 1 day course. I went on it and highly recommend it. They hold it in Templestowe. Otherwise, find a club in your area, they will know who is teaching close by or will usually offer to help you along.

Good luck with it, and show us what you have made

Do you have your own lathe & tools? 'Cos even if you can't make it to lessons, I'm sure there will be a capable turner or two local to you, who'll happily invite you around to their shed for a yarn and some lathe time.
