Hi all, I am looking for plans for campaign furniture the late Victorian early Edwardian variety of Officer's furniture or knock down as the Americans call it. I am interested in building items similar to those found on the following website: http://www.sitemason.com/gallery/hoHg2Y?id=14542&filter_filename=roorkhee and http://www.sitemason.com/files/ha98J2/safari%20deskbar.jpg and http://www.dukewood.com/wooden/Military-Secretaire-Chest.asp# and http://www.sitemason.com/files/ctOJKE/Secretaire.jpg

I have a book about the furniture but am not experienced enough to design it myself. Would be happy for any help or leads here. I do know exactly what I want to build but won't bore with all the details here.

Cheers,

Fusilier,

For your own peace of mind I hope you saw the 'officer's mess' table on hthe English Antiques show recently. Here was this semi-circular table that anyone could have against a wall with a vase on it. But when you folded it out , it became a circular table. And when they started putting the leaves into it, I think it sat about 12 people comfortably.
They estimated it to be worth $70 000 AUS.
What a piece of furniture!
