I've seen the posts on warnings re use of tools eg: On a mower " Not to be used as an overhead hedge trimmer" or on a router " Not to be used for dental work" but how many of us see our neighbours using tools in a strange way?

We use a whipper snipper at our place but my neighbour lets his kid use a blowtorch attached to a large LPG cylinder to get rid of those bits the mower misses. Beat that!

Mmmm. Sounds good. Can you tell us more about the blowtorch? On a flexible hose and has an approx 25mm diameter nozzle like the ones used for heating metal (annealing?). Ive seen this setup used before but only on metal and always in a workshop with appropriate safety equipment on the user.
One day we will hear the 'bang' but it will be all over then.

One would assume that if they were forced to put the warning label on, it must have been a big enough issue.... Scary that someone thought you could:o
